My Progress
WEEK 1 : RESEARCH & LEARN
A day before assignment briefing, we attended tutorial sessions with Ms Renee. Ms Renee taught us some basic techniques on how to draw softscapes. We were also given examples to refer to as we attempted on our own. Before the class ended, I am also able to receive some advice and corrections. After I completed my softscapes with 2B pencil, I then post my progress on CL padlet.

WEEK 2 : CREATION OF MASTER PLAN
On week 2, I decided to draw out my master plan. We are required to sketch out our master plan with extreme details and precision based on the example given in the module booklet. I proceeded to sketch out my master plan cautiously and try to avoid visible mistakes.

After double checking, I proceed to draw the it with art line pen 0.005 and 0.1.

WEEK 3 : COMPLETION OF TASK B ( SOFTSCAPES & HARDSCAPES)
After I am satisfied with my master plan, I immediately research for ideas before drawing softscapes and hardscape. Fortunately, there are a few examples that I can refer to. I then start drawing and artline my softscapes and hardscape. At the same week, I was also able to colour them and include all the labelling.

WEEK 4 : CORRECTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS
A few days before passing up our final product of our assignment, we had a tutorial class. I was able to make use of that opportunity to ask for comment and advices. Ms Renee told me that there is some mistakes on the master plan and softscape. The scale of the table is wrong and I also drew the wrong ground clover. I immediately redraw my master plan and change my ground clover before the due date. Luckily, I was able to finish everything in time.

The Outcome
Through this assignment, I learnt proper techniques on how to art line and switch between pens for different thickness depending on the drawing. I was also able to improve my colouring skill and after redoing my master plan, I learnt to be more careful and patient when it comes to drawing.
My Reflection
1. Intrapersonal Skills
Through this assignment, I learn to deal with mistakes and learn from my errors. I made a few mistakes during the process of completing this assignment but I was able to learn from try and error and do not take it personally. I am able to accept my failure and redo it again until its perfect.
2. Lifelong Learning
I was able to do my own research in order to meet the requirements in order to complete this assignment. Despite little guidance, I am still able to make use of the time whenever I have the opportunity such as tutorial classes to ask for advice and corrections.
3. Discipline Specific Knowledge
Through this assignment, I can truly pick up and polish my art lining skill. I was also able to improve my drawing precision and imitate the example from the master plan as closely as possible. Besides, I have total understandings of drawing softscapes and hardscapes.
