" An idea is salvation by imagination. "
ASSIGNMENT 1 -
DESIGN ELEMENTS
TASK
This assignment is designed to introduce and identify the primary elements of form in the order of their growth from the point to a one-dimensional line, from the line to a two-dimensional plane, and from the plane to a three-dimensional volume. Each element is first considered as a conceptual element, then as a visual element in the vocabulary of architectural design.

This assignment is completely new to me and I was excited to explore these new knowledges. Most importantly, I achieved a basic spatial understanding and the existence of void.
ASSIGNMENT 2 -
DESIGN ELEMENTS
TASK
Assignment 2 is designed as a continuation from Assignment 1 to introduce and identify the design principles of architecture and design in utilising and creating order in an architectural composition and spatial arrangement.
We are required to create models base on the extraction of the shapes from patterns created in Assignment 1's model.
There are series of 8 small models of 10cm x 10 cm x 10cm each to apply the understanding of design principles. Upon completion of the series, we are then required to combine different design principles to produce a 20cm x 20cm x 20cm hybrid final model to explore various volumetric of form and space.
ASSIGNMENT 3 -
INSIDE OUT - HEADSPACE CUBE
TASK
We were given the task to design a space for a user/client. It is a 30x30x30 cube space and we are required to develop within the space based on the a character from 'Inside Out' movie. I was given "Anger" which represents the angry red in colour emotion from the Inside Out movie by Mr Paul. The space designed should embody and reflect the user’s/client’s characteristics, traits, behavioural actions, and habits based on our interpretations and findings.
