WEEK 8: GROUP DISCUSSION & RESEARCH
Not long after the assignment briefing, we created a group for AHT Project 2. We were assigned two buildings, Sultan Abdul Samad building and General Hospital Kuala Lumpur. After further discussion, we decided to start with Sultan Abdul Samad building first. After we decided on the topic, each of us then proceed to start our research on different categories.

WEEK 9-12: ORGANISING RESEARCH MATERIALS
In this 3 weeks time frame, we were able to go through all of our informations and input whatever is missing. We have at least 2 meetings through Zoom to discuss about the workload, and a get references from senior's work. On the final week, we were also able to compile a good few informations into Wix slides that we share. From there, we can always refer or add in extra informations whenever we want.

WEEK 13-15: COMPLETION OF WIX SLIDES
After we finalised our informations and completed our slides for Sultan Abdul Samad building, we then proceed with the next one which is General Hospital Kuala Lumpur. We decided on each of our roles and start filtering out the important informations. As the para phraser, I replaced some of the paragraphs and corrected the lines to make it smoother. I also double checked for grammar mistakes and make sure to include all the points based on the research.

The Outcome
In this assignment, I was able to research and investigate how Malaysia's past influences the architectural style of these historical structures. The Sultan Abdul Samad Building was previously the British government's governmental building, which heavily influenced its architectural design. The building was also named after the Sultan of Selangor during the construction. We analyzed and studied the architecture elements in detail as well as the site and its spatial layout. As a conclusion, it is definitely great to explore the historical buildings but it is even better to do it with a group of teammates.
My Reflection
1. Communication Skills
I was able to communicate and bond with my group mates despite some of them are new faces. To bring them together and work as a team, I also suggested to have group calls some of the nights during the assignment week to discuss about our presentation and get them to share their opinion.
2. Digital Literacy
During this COVID-19 outbreak, it is considered troublesome for some of us to meet up face to face. Luckily, we were able to utilise social media platforms to communicate with each other such as WhatsApp and Discord. Through google docs, we can share our script and everyone is able to edit and add on informations which was a very beneficial application for us.
3. Intrapersonal Skills
In this assignment, I tried to get to know the team better by suggesting night calls or study group just to get to know each other better. Through that, my communication skill improved in the mean time of learning and gaining new knowledges in the process of completing the assignment.
