Project Task & Overview
For our second project, we had to make a street research poster that we analyzed in Project 1. We chose Jalan Tun HS Lee as our research destination and then worked together to develop a research poster and video that explains our findings.

Mr Kor gave us a briefing regarding our second project, we were required to work in a group of & to identify a significant issue which occurred in Jalan Tun HS Lee. We kick start the assignment by by creating a google docs upon deciding on the method we choose to pursue which is through adaptive reuse.

After a few discussions and different recommendations throughout the team, we had decided on a date for physical site visit to have a better grasp of the issues that Jalan Tun HS Lee. We took pictures of the building with defects and some on going businesses that are still in use.

Throughout the week, we have made multiple changes based on our tutor Mr Kor request. We were given valuable feedbacks in Miro from time to time, we were able to come up with a finalise conceptual framework.
Final Poster
Reflection
After completing this project, I have learned a lot about the benefits of adaptive reuse in architecture and how it can help revive obsolete and dilapidated buildings in an era of rapid development. This course taught me about the elements of a sense of place and how it contributes to the context of the street.I was also able to see how deteriorated storehouses can be turned into spaces that are both meaningful and representative of their history. Working in a group has taught me how to get along with others and manage my time more efficiently.
